Once you exit the ring at the fairgrounds please continue on to a predestinated location (not immediately in front of the gate) to allow passengers off of your parade vehicle. This will allow the parade to continue in a timely manner. If you have additional questions, please contact the Senior Fairboard at 937.378.3558.

Please keep the parking lot clean and pick up any trash before departing in the parade. When entering the ring at the Fairgrounds please make sure your number is visible on the left side of the parade route.

If distributing candy or other items along the parade route please note the following from the Village of Georgetown: All precautions should be taken if handing out candy or other items from your float or vehicle, please do not throw items from the float, truck or vehicle, it is preferred that you have someone on the ground distribute items.

Your number should be able to be viewed from the left side of your vehicle etc. when you enter the ring.

The King & Queen Floats will gather at the Court House, The Bands at the Y, The Fire & Rescue at the Fire House and the Balance at the Georgetown High School

The parade will line-up in the parking lot at the new Jr./Sr. High school of Georgetown Exempted Village Schools on Monday evening beginning at 4:30 p.m. The parade will move out at 5:30 p.m. and arrive at the fairgrounds at 6:30 p.m.

Note: All participants must pre-register so that a line up list can be pre-planned and distributed before the line up. Please, no parting on the blacktop at high school to allow room for parade lineup. Also political candidates must ride on the float of their party. No candidate will be permitted individual floats. Those not pre-registering may or may not be permitted at the end of the parade. There will be No announcement of units not pre-registered as they come in the center ring. NO CARS OR FLOATS ARE TO UNLOAD UNTIL THEY PASS THE ADMINISTRATION BUILDING AND BEEF BARN.

Parade entry form will be due no later than September 1st for the Brown County Fair Parade.

To better organize the parade, we will be publishing the order of line up for the parade in The News Democrat and on our web site, www.LittleStateFair.com. So watch for this announcement around the mid of September.

Getting to the Fair!


There will be parking and shuttle service available at IGA Plus parking lot. SHUTTLES will begin daily running at noon on Tuesday, and continue through the balance of the fair. You may choose to ride the shuttle rather than the general parking. There will be no charge for the shuttle. Shuttle service will end at approximately 11:00 pm. nightly.
