Fairboard Elections

Rules & Regulations for Fairboard Candidates - Members of the society shall declare their candidacy for the office of a director on the Board of Directors by filing with the secretary of this Society a petition signed by ten or more members at least ten days before the annual election of
directors is held. Only regularly nominated candidates who have met the filing requirements will be eligible for election
of Directors.

TOWNSHIPS TO BE ELECTED IN:

  • 2012: Eagle, Franklin, Huntington, Jackson, Jefferson
  • 2013: Byrd, Green, Perry, Pleasant, Union
  • 2014: Clark, Lewis, Pike, Scott, Sterling & Washington

The annual election for directors will be held on Friday, September 28, 2012 in the secretary’s office from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Only those holding 2012 membership tickets will be permitted to vote.

NOTICE

No person shall be permitted to make solicitations of any nature on the fairgrounds except in contracted concession or commercial rented spaces. No person shall be permitted to post or display signs, distribute handbills or advertising material, or sell or distribute free, any merchandise, except persons under contract.

NOTICE

Exhibitor of Grand and Reserve market animals will retain ownership and responsibility for care and well being of animal until a negative drug test is received from the Ohio Department of Agricultural -- Even if test is not received until hours or days after animal is auctioned.

NOTICE

Exhibitors shall annually attend or complete a quality assurance program before exhibiting terminal or partial terminal market livestock, or at the option of Ohio State University Extension, annually pass a test administered by or under the supervision of Ohio State University Extension.
